In a quick post, allow me to promote Ravelry. Similar, in many ways, to social networking sites such as Facebook or MySpace, Ravelry proves to be a lot more interesting, and a lot more interest-focused. You can search for patterns, people, designers, books. You can see finished projects, UFOs, and join groups of knitters with similar interests.
